About Mireille
Founder of Human Agency by Design
Human Agency by Design was founded by Mireille Seipt — a coach, observer, and practitioner deeply attuned to how humans navigate growth inside real lives.
Mireille’s work is shaped by years of studying and paying attention to the spaces where growth thrives, and where it tends to break down — not because people lack motivation or intelligence, but because they’re operating under pressure, responsibility, and unspoken emotional load. She has seen firsthand how easily well-intentioned efforts to “improve” can slide into self-override, burnout, or disconnection when capacity isn’t taken into account.
Rather than approaching coaching as a set of techniques to apply, Mireille works relationally — listening for patterns, emotional cues, and moments where clarity is close but not yet accessible. Her approach is grounded in curiosity, emotional intelligence, and an understanding of how internal states influence decision-making, leadership, and change.
What distinguishes her work is not urgency or intensity, but steadiness. Clients often describe feeling met, understood, and able to think more clearly — sometimes for the first time in a long while. From that place, decisions become more honest, movement more sustainable, and growth something that can actually be lived.
Mireille believes meaningful change doesn’t come from becoming someone new. It comes from learning how to work with who you already are.
This practice exists to support growth that strengthens — rather than fragments — the human behind the role.
About Human Agency by Design
Human Agency by Design is a coaching and leadership development practice centered on the belief that lasting growth emerges from awareness — not urgency.
At the heart of this work is curiosity. The kind that invites awareness before action, and understanding before decision-making. We believe meaningful growth begins when people are supported in noticing what’s happening internally — emotionally, cognitively, and relationally — rather than rushing to solutions.
This approach is informed by emotional intelligence and human behavior research, recognizing that clarity, confidence, and sustainable momentum emerge through awareness and choice. By developing emotional literacy and attentiveness to internal signals, clients gain the capacity to respond intentionally instead of reacting under pressure.
Our coaching supports individuals and leaders navigating transition, complexity, and long-term growth. We work with real constraints, real lives, and real responsibilities — designing support that adapts to context rather than forcing one-size-fits-all frameworks.
Human Agency by Design exists for people who want growth that can be lived. Work that honors capacity, strengthens agency, and supports thoughtful leadership over time.
Human Agency Is Not Given. It’s Designed — It’s where perspective becomes power.
What We Believe
-
Growth begins with awareness
Lasting change doesn’t start with doing more — it starts with noticing what’s already here. Awareness creates space between reaction and response, allowing clearer choices to emerge. When people understand their patterns, signals, and internal landscape, forward movement becomes more honest and less forced.
-
Curiosity Creates Movement
We believe curiosity is one of the safest entry points to change. It lowers defensiveness, opens perspective, and invites exploration without pressure to decide too quickly. When curiosity leads, insight follows — and action becomes more aligned instead of reactive.
-
Capacity Shapes Possibility
Human systems move best when energy, context, and timing are respected. Capacity isn’t a limitation — it’s information. When growth is paced to what someone can actually sustain, momentum builds naturally rather than collapsing under strain.
-
Emotions Are Data
Emotions aren’t obstacles to work around — they’re signals worth listening to. They influence judgment, behavior, and leadership, whether acknowledged or not. When emotional awareness is integrated into the process, decisions become more grounded and resilient.
-
Choice Strengthens Agency
People move forward more effectively when they feel ownership over their direction. Choice restores agency, builds confidence, and supports adaptability when conditions change. Growth that is chosen tends to last longer than growth that is imposed.
-
Integration Matters More Than Speed
Real change is something you live, not something you rush through. Insight only becomes useful when it’s integrated into daily decisions, relationships, and work. We value progress that can be carried forward — not just achieved once.
Why This Work Exists
Human Agency by Design is grounded in the understanding that growth is not a matter of willpower alone — it’s shaped by awareness, emotional capacity, and context.
This work draws from emotional intelligence, human behavior research, and nervous-system–informed approaches that recognize how stress, safety, and emotional awareness influence decision-making.
When people are under pressure, insight alone isn’t enough. The ability to notice internal signals, regulate emotional responses, and stay present with complexity is what makes choice possible.
Rather than focusing on performance or motivation, this approach pays attention to patterns — emotional, relational, and behavioral — and to the internal conditions that expand or restrict capacity.
Research consistently shows that sustainable change happens when people feel supported, understood, and resourced, not when they’re pushed past their limits.
By working with these principles, clarity and movement tend to follow naturally — not because they’re forced, but because the conditions for change are right.
We explore complex decisions, unlock clarity, and take aligned steps forward through identity-focused coaching.
What We Don’t Do
-
We Don’t Push Through
We don’t believe meaningful change comes from forcing momentum or overriding internal signals. Pushing through often creates short-term movement at the cost of long-term sustainability. If something isn’t moving, we slow down long enough to understand why — not bulldoze past it.
-
We Don’t Rely on One-Size-Fits-All Frameworks
There’s no universal formula for growth, leadership, or change. Human lives are shaped by context, history, nervous systems, and competing demands. We adapt our approach to the person in front of us rather than asking them to contort themselves to a model.
-
We Don’t Optimize for Hustle or Output
This work isn’t about productivity for productivity’s sake. Chasing constant output often disconnects people from clarity, creativity, and judgment. We focus on decisions and movement that can be sustained — not just measured.
-
We Don’t Bypass What’s Present
We don’t skip over discomfort, emotion, or uncertainty to get to an answer faster. What’s present usually holds important information. When it’s acknowledged rather than avoided, progress becomes more grounded and less fragile.
-
We Don’t Prescribe Your Path
We don’t tell you what you should want or what success ought to look like. Direction is something we explore together, not something handed down. You remain the authority on your life — we support the process, not dictate the outcome.
-
We Don’t Promise Quick Fixes
This isn’t transformation-by-Tuesday work. Insight takes time to integrate, and real change unfolds in layers. We value progress that holds up under real life — not promises that collapse once pressure returns.
This work integrates principle-driven coaching, nervous-system awareness, and sustainable leadership development to support real, lived growth.
“This practice is grounded in ongoing coach training aligned with the International Coaching Federation standards. I am currently completing an ICF-ACC-aligned Level 1 program through the provisionally accredited Lumina Legacy Institute, strengthening my ability to support client-led, sustainable growth. This work is informed by the ICF’s professional standards and ethical framework, emphasizing presence, responsibility, and respect for client autonomy. That foundation guides how I listen, how I ask questions, and how I create space for clarity to emerge—without force or prescription.”
